Clearing & Treasury Specialist, Japan

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily reconciliations of deposit and withdrawal funds with the online banking details.
• Track and process system deposit and withdrawal transactions.
• Collaborate with customer service to address funding-related inquiries.
• Handle adjustments and processing of incorrect currency deposits by customers.
• Participate in the distribution and processing of market-related activities.
• Compile and analyze daily system operation data.
• Coordinate the setup and initiation of new channels by handling all pre-launch operations.
• Address and resolve other funding issues related to the system.
• Develop short-term cash forecasts and oversee daily cash management procedures within Group liquidity parameters.
• Assist in managing the Group's intercompany loans, settlements, and accrued interest.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new bank accounts, administer online banking systems, and manage bank signatories.
• Collaborate with Treasury Managers on system and payment product implementations and maintenance of transaction data.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of relevant work experience, with proficiency in English and Japanese for stakeholder communication.
• Bachelor's degree or above in areas like accounting, finance, or economics.
• Preferably, experience in trading markets, third-party payment services, and clearing and settlement operations in commercial banking.
• Strong risk management skills with a sharp ability to identify risks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic, creativity, resilience, sense of responsibility, and team-oriented mindset.
• Thorough understanding of both Internet finance and traditional financial services.
• Experience in team leadership, along with successful project management.
