Description
This role involves reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel in the HQ Commercial Legal Team. The ideal candidate should be a proactive individual with a strong interest in financial innovation, adept at working collaboratively across functions to solve intricate problems. The individual should resonate with the mission of facilitating cryptocurrency adoption in every wallet.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements such as token listing agreements, software/cloud licensing and subscription agreements, vendor agreements, advertising and marketing agreements, research grant agreements, professional services agreements, insurance policies, NDAs, and leases
- Work with the Procurement team to enhance the procurement process and contract review timeline
- Partner with the Legal Ops team to formulate legal tools, policies, and procedures
- Create and update template documentation, negotiation guidelines, and best practices
- Collaborate closely with global business teams to offer effective support and practical advice
- Coordinate with external legal counsels and professional advisors
- Conduct training on legal tools, contract management, and knowledge sharing
- Undertake other commercial legal tasks in line with strategic business objectives
Requirements
- At least 5 years of legal support experience in commercial matters, gained either in-house or at a private practice law firm, ideally with exposure to technology services, financial services, cryptocurrencies, Web3.0, or general corporate and commercial practices
- Strong skills in drafting and negotiating, coupled with extensive knowledge of general corporate and contract law
- Ability to excel in a dynamic international setting, adapting to change and ambiguity
- Innovative thinker with robust problem-solving abilities and resilience in challenging situations
- Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently and resolving conflicting priorities effectively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, displaying high integrity, professionalism, and a collaborative spirit
