Senior Smart Contract Engineer, AI Agent Payments
DCS Card Centre is a financial payments and Web3 company building at the intersection of AI agents and on-chain payments. We are hiring a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to design and implement the on-chain contracts and protocol integrations that enable autonomous payments by AI agents.
This is a deeply technical role focused on stablecoin settlement, on-chain authorization, agent identity, trusted machine-to-machine transactions, and secure payment infrastructure. You will write secure, gas-efficient, auditable Solidity code that may directly handle real value. Contract safety, code quality, and risk awareness are the highest priorities.
What You Will Work On
Design, develop, and test core payment smart contracts for stablecoin settlement, escrow/clearing, on-chain authorization, subscriptions, and usage-based billing.
Build reusable Solidity components and engineering standards for secure, gas-efficient, and audit-ready contracts.
Implement security best practices, including reentrancy protection, access control, integer safety, permission boundaries, upgrade risk review, and audit remediation.
Integrate emerging agentic payment protocols such as x402, AP2, ERC-8004, and related standards.
Build the on-chain identity, payment authorization, and stablecoin settlement loop for AI agents.
Contribute to multi-chain and L2 payment infrastructure, batch settlement, gas optimization, and stablecoin payment rails.
Work closely with backend, product, and risk teams to safely connect on-chain capabilities to production business flows.
Requirements
3–5 years of smart contract or blockchain engineering experience. Strong candidates with exceptional project experience are also welcome.
Strong Solidity expertise and hands-on experience shipping production smart contracts.
Deep understanding of the EVM, gas optimization, and common Solidity frameworks such as Foundry or Hardhat.
Strong smart contract security mindset and familiarity with common vulnerabilities and audit workflows.
Experience with at least one major EVM ecosystem such as Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, or other L2 networks.
Experience in stablecoins, payments, DeFi, clearing/settlement, or other financial smart contract systems.
High ownership mindset and strong sensitivity to fund safety and production risk.
Nice To Have

We’re looking for a hands-on Business Development Manager who can help Schedar build strategic relationships across the AI, Web3, crypto, infrastructure, and startup ecosystem.
This is not a “send cold messages and collect logos” role. We need someone who can identify high-value founders, protocols, funds, ecosystem partners, communities, infrastructure providers, KOLs, accelerators, and technical teams — then turn those relationships into real opportunities for collaboration, deal flow, partnerships, talent, and growth.
You’ll work directly with Schedar’s team, founders, portfolio-related projects, and external ecosystem partners to expand Schedar’s network and support early-stage AI-native and Web3 products.
What You’ll Own
Identify and source high-potential startups, founders, projects, protocols, and ecosystem partners across AI and Web3
Build relationships with founders, operators, investors, accelerators, developer communities, protocol ecosystems, KOLs, and strategic partners
Create and manage outbound BD pipelines across LinkedIn, Telegram, X, email, Discord, events, and founder communities
Support Schedar’s deal flow by discovering early-stage AI-native and Web3 projects that may be relevant for investment, incubation, or collaboration
