Crypto Engineering Manager (Portugal-Remote)

We are searching for a dependable and proactive individual for the role of an engineering manager with extensive engineering experience and demonstrated leadership abilities. The selected candidate will be responsible for constructing and overseeing diverse teams comprising data engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and QA testers. Key duties include simultaneously working on multiple projects, devising and implementing strategies, and collaborating with various stakeholders within the organization. The engineering manager will be involved in researching and developing innovative designs and products, suggesting project budgets, and supervising all project-related activities.

To excel in this role, candidates must possess excellent foresight, effective communication skills, a solid understanding of different engineering disciplines and their interconnections, and a talent for risk management. Preferably, applicants should be able to showcase their managerial and technical proficiencies, as well as exhibit an understanding of the intricate landscape of the industry.

Requirements

• Possess certification as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Architect
• Skilled in Scrum Master and Agile methodologies
• Proficient in React Native, Node JS, Javascript, and Python
• Knowledge of Design Thinking and Product Management
• Familiarity with Sonarqube or similar code review tools
• Experience with Feature management tools like LaunchDarkly or similar software
• Master's degree in engineering management, technical management, or business administration
• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field
• Extensive engineering background
• Demonstrated supervisory and technical competencies
• Strong recommendations
