Description
Token Metrics is seeking an innovative UI/UX Engineer to lead the UI/UX design of digital assets. The role focuses on optimizing online user experience for enhanced usability, functionality, and appealing visual design.
Duties:
Design and User Experience:
- Produce visually captivating and user-centric designs.
- Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Perform user research and usability testing to guide design choices.
Front-End Development:
- Create responsive web designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to incorporate APIs and services.
Performance and Compatibility:
- Ensure optimal web page performance across devices and browsers.
- Debug and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Optimize web pages for speed and scalability.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Engage with product managers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Participate in design reviews and offer constructive feedback.
- Communicate design concepts and prototypes effectively to developers and stakeholders.
Requirements:
Design Skills:
- Proficient in UX, UI, visual interaction, and graphic design.
- Experience with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Sketch.
Development Skills:
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Proficiency in Node.js and its ecosystem.
Performance Optimization:
- Prior experience in optimizing web pages for performance and speed.
- Familiarity with optimization tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
Cross-Browser Compatibility:
- Ability to ensure smooth functioning of designs and code across different browsers and devices.
