CST (Fraud) Analyst (Contractor)

A dynamic opportunity awaits qualified individuals as part of the Fraud team of Blue Cube Services Ltd. We are in search of talented fraud analysts to contribute remotely to a significant project involving a top-tier digital asset software platform.

Note: This role involves compensation in cryptocurrency and operates on a self-employed basis. Candidates are responsible for managing their own tax reporting obligations.

Position Overview

We are looking for self-motivated and analytical fraud specialists to enhance our Fraud team. Working within the digital asset software domain, this role focuses on risk mitigation and the prevention of fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing on a global scale.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze suspicious activities reported by various stakeholders, including bank partners.
• Assess and review information related to Source of Funds and Source of Wealth.
• Efficiently handle escalations from Client Success and other teams, ensuring timely resolution and client communication.
• Identify and report on trends crucial for enhancing our fraud prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective fraud prevention measures.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proficient in data analysis and deep-level account investigation.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Banking, FinTech, Compliance, or Fraud, or a relevant degree.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrencies is beneficial but not obligatory, as training will be provided.
• Strong proficiency in English language, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving team requiring 24/7 coverage.
• Previous experience in Compliance or Fraud is a plus.
• Access to a laptop with a camera/webcam, a phone for Google authenticator software, and a stable internet connection.
• Willingness to undergo additional background/security checks when necessary.
