Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of financial crime compliance, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements, providing guidance and leadership.
- Serve as a key point of contact for escalated name screening alerts and conduct advanced research on compliance risks, sharing findings with key stakeholders.
- Offer strategic advice on managing financial crime risks effectively, staying abreast of industry trends and developments.
- Assess and enhance compliance processes, providing expert guidance to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Review FCC-related risk profiles, propose strategic solutions, and influence compliance initiatives.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance/financial crime compliance, with prior team management experience preferred.
- Familiarity with banking operations, procedures, and systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Certifications like ACAMS or ACFCS are advantageous.
- Proficiency in English with strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
- Experience in stakeholder management and a proactive, results-driven approach.
