What We're Looking For:

We seek a talented individual to join us as a key team member, responsible for managing our database systems. The ideal candidate should align with our values and exhibit a deep commitment to ethical and innovative advancements in the decentralized tech space.

Role:

• Collaborate in designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable database systems to handle extensive data sets, ensuring data integrity, optimal performance, and high availability.
• Construct and manage efficient Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines to streamline data flow across multiple sources into our database systems.
• Deploy and scale database solutions through cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, leveraging cloud tools for management, security, and performance.
• Integrate diverse data sources, execute data warehousing strategies, and ensure seamless data accessibility for analytical and operational requirements.
• Monitor and optimize database performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing performance enhancement techniques.
• Uphold database security measures, manage user access controls, and adhere to data privacy regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have a degree in fields such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering, with expertise in database design, optimization, and data modeling.
• Proficient in SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB), with experience in database design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes using tools like Apache NiFi, Talend, or custom scripts in Python or SQL.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts, ETL frameworks, and best practices, along with experience in data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Skilled in performance tuning, query optimization, and using monitoring tools to resolve performance issues.
• Advanced programming skills in Python for scripting and automation tasks.
• Knowledge of statistics, machine learning algorithms, and proficiency in troubleshooting and version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of blockchain principles, smart contracts, and DeFi principles (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex tasks independently with minimal guidance.
• Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Amplitude (preferred).
