[Role: DeFi Strategy Lead] Clique is hiring a Web3 DeFi Strategy Lead to drive our next growth phase. The candidate will be responsible for developing a strategic roadmap, fostering partnerships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading a team of strategists, utilizing their deep understanding of DeFi ecosystems and strong analytical skills. This full-time position is either fully remote or located in Singapore, New York, or San Francisco.
[Responsibilities]
As a DeFi Strategy Lead, your responsibilities will include the following:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and oversee the implementation of Clique's DeFi strategic roadmap, aligning business goals with the rapid developments in the DeFi sector.
- Product Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and launch innovative DeFi products and services that resonate with our target audience.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify opportunities and threats, and recommend actionable strategies to capitalize on market trends.
- Partnership and Collaboration: Build and maintain partnerships with other DeFi platforms, fostering collaborations that enhance Clique’s product offerings and market presence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure that all DeFi products adhere to regulatory standards and best practices.
- Community Engagement: Engage with the DeFi community through various channels, gathering insights and feedback to influence product and strategy development.
- Team Management and Development: Lead a dynamic team of strategists, nurturing talent and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
[Skills & Qualifications]
- 5+ years of experience in the DeFi or broader crypto space, with a proven track record of success in strategy roles.
- Deep understanding of DeFi ecosystems, protocols, and financial products.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and lead cross-functional teams.
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

- Has deep knowledge in on-chain data analysis with tools like Dune Analytics.
- Demonstrates an interest in on-chain reputation, identities, and attestation infrastructures and applications, reflecting alignment with Clique's core mission.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of core cryptographic primitives employed by our team, including Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs), and Multi-Party Computation (MPC).
- Has prior experience in SaaS, working with customers in FinTech, KYC, healthcare, banking, and AI.
