Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with projects and the growing community of external developers
- Possess expert knowledge of our vision, strategy, and all functions of our technical stacks, and effectively communicate these aspects
- Develop a program to drive adoption of the Cere Ecosystem, such as implementing a bounty and grants program to engage developers in contributing and building on top of our network
- Organize, manage, and attend both online and offline hackathons
- Incorporate community input to enhance the Cere ecosystem
- Provide technical guidance to developers in our community
- Monitor community forums and channels to address technical questions and issues
- Utilize creativity to attract projects and developers
- Coordinate and manage other community managers
- Translate technical requirements into business requirements and vice versa
- Track and analyze key metrics related to Cere's developer community, such as active developers, retention rate, sentiment score, and GitHub activity
- Provide regular reports and insights to leadership regarding the health and trends of the developer community
Requirements
- Previous experience in similar roles, particularly in the Web3 sector
- Experience in building open-source developer communities
- Understanding of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and decentralized application development
- High-level understanding of programming languages, databases, and developer tools
- Familiarity with web3 programming languages, such as Solidity, Rust, or other commonly used languages in blockchain development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for collaborative work
- Stakeholder management experience
- Comfortable with managing and growing communities, both online and offline
- Ability to define goals, measure results, and communicate impact
- Knowledge of community management tools
