Uniswap Labs is seeking a full-time or part-time contractor for a duration of 3 months.
In our effort to strengthen our presence in the APAC region, we are in search of developer community specialists / brand ambassadors specifically in South Korea.
Responsibilities of the developer community specialist:
- Engage in expanding Uniswap through organic and community-driven initiatives within the country.
- Continuously provide product feedback and market insights to support the growth and success of Uniswap in the region.
Key duties include:
- Actively participate in the local crypto community and act as a representative for Uniswap, sharing valuable market insights with headquarters.
- Represent Uniswap on Discord in the local language, engaging with various Uniswap Labs teams such as support, developer relations, and community.
- Promote Uniswap across relevant community channels like Telegram, Reddit, and Signal, while nurturing a loyal and expanding local community.
- Organize informative local meet-ups aimed at educating and showcasing Uniswap developer tools.
- Collaborate with other crypto projects in the region to drive increased engagement.
- Deliver weekly reports detailing activities, metrics, and future proposals.
Requirements for the position:
- Technical background as an engineer proficient in trading protocols.
- A passionate participant in the crypto trading community, with substantial involvement in the crypto space.
- In-depth familiarity with Uniswap protocols and products, capable of addressing inquiries on functionality, value propositions, and competitive analysis.
- Extensive connections within the local crypto community and broader project networks.
- Strong adherence to Uniswap’s brand integrity and standards.
- Proficiency in both English and local language(s).
- Willingness to travel to NYC once per quarter if required.
- Flexible to work US ET hours for 1-2 days per week.
