Flow Traders seeks an experienced individual to fill the role of Digital Assets Trader within the Trading team in Amsterdam. As a member of the Digital Assets Trader team at Flow Traders, you will play a crucial role within a globally successful and innovative team that focuses on trading across cryptocurrency exchanges with an emphasis on maintaining continuous liquidity. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing effective trading strategies in collaboration with the global team to enhance profitability in the Digital Assets business as part of Flow Traders' expansion strategy.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute new trading strategies on various Cryptocurrency exchanges while considering potential risks
- Conduct research and backtesting to identify strategies that capitalize on market opportunities, utilizing the expertise of the global team for making informed trading decisions
- Manage trading positions and ensure accurate capture of essential information
- Explore the international cryptocurrency market to discover new opportunities and products aligning with Flow Traders’ growth strategy
- Collaborate with the global Digital Assets team, sharing insights on market trends to enhance trading activities
- Focus on desk technical enhancements and automate daily processes where possible
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in market making on various cryptocurrency exchanges
- University degree, preferably in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Finance, or related fields
- Comprehensive knowledge of trading digital assets and experience trading on global exchanges is essential
- Innovative and creative individual with a strong passion for financial markets
- Competitive nature with a goal-oriented mindset
- Interest in quantitative systems
