THE MISSION
We are in search of a skilled and proactive Director of Business Development to spearhead our initiatives in fostering relationships with game developers and encouraging them to release their games on the Open Loot platform. The ideal candidate will have an extensive network within the gaming sector and a successful history of driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Forge Strategic Partnerships: Identify and build strong connections with game developers to facilitate the adoption of the Open Loot platform.
- Conduct Market Analysis: Carry out comprehensive market research to grasp industry trends, developer requirements, and competitive landscapes for making informed strategic choices.
- Foster Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless integration of developer partnerships.
- Lead Negotiations: Take charge of negotiations and oversee partnership securing processes from initial contact to contract finalization.
- Network Expansion: Actively engage in industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance Open Loot's presence and impact in the gaming community.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience: At least 8-10 years in business development roles within the gaming industry.
- Networking: Demonstrated extensive connections with game developers and industry stakeholders.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and establish trust with partners.
- Knowledge: Profound understanding of the gaming ecosystem, monetization strategies, and developer needs. Prior 1-2 years experience in the cryptocurrency industry is desirable.
