Director/VP, Risk Model and System Quality Assurance

The company's exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining an advanced trading platform that operates globally across different regions. Their primary focus is to ensure a secure and seamless trading experience for their clients.

We are currently looking for a professional to join our team, with a specific focus on validating risk models and ensuring the quality assurance of system implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for verifying the accuracy of risk models, maintaining system quality standards, and optimizing model performance for large-scale operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the validation of risk model performance and quality assurance of system implementations.
• Evaluate the efficiency of risk models and settlement pricing functions to ensure they are built on robust methodologies.
• Create and implement unit and integration tests to validate model accuracy and system integration.
• Enhance model efficiency and system performance to ensure quick processing of vast amounts of data and complex simulations.
• Improve code quality and maintainability by ensuring structured, well-documented, and understandable code for long-term use.
• Establish a thorough code review process to identify and resolve issues, enhance design, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure model governance effectiveness and alignment with regulatory and business requirements.

Requirements

• Hold a Master's Degree or higher in a quantitative field such as finance, risk management, mathematics, computer science, or engineering.
• Possess at least 8 years of professional experience in model development, validation, quality assurance, or related fields.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Deep knowledge of financial derivatives and quantitative modeling techniques.
• Experience with optimization techniques, parallel computing, and cloud computing.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of Kafka messaging, AWS cloud computing, and Kubernetes is beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for emerging crypto innovations and traditional finance.
• Ability to learn quickly, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and take ownership of tasks.
