As the Engineering Manager for the Core Experience team, you will foster an environment promoting trust, respect, and collaboration. Leading by example, you will guide a small team with integrity, empathy, and clarity. With exceptional communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a hands-on approach, you will ensure effective task delegation and performance standards. You will serve as a problem solver, mentor, and teacher, actively sharing knowledge to facilitate team growth.
Key Technical Skills:
- Demonstrate broad knowledge across multiple domains with a deepening focus on a specific area.

- Collaborate with Product Managers to align product investments with team resources and technical requirements.

- Tailor communication to address individual needs, motivations, and concerns effectively.

Qualifications:
- Proven track record in managing and supporting geographically dispersed teams.
- Experience in building resilient, high-performance distributed applications, involving complex architectural challenges, with a focus on collaboration and impact-driven solutions.
- Passion for developing and maintaining high-quality code and test infrastructure.
- Emphasis on user experience and business value over technical novelty.
- Proficient in computer science fundamentals, such as concurrency, algorithms, and data structures (formal CS degree not mandatory).
- Personal qualities of creativity, humility, ambition, attention to detail, hard work ethic, trustworthiness, eagerness to learn, methodical approach, action-oriented mindset, and perseverance.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with effective regulatory compliance controls, authorization, and authentication.
