BitGo is seeking an Engineering Manager to join the Prime organization to aid in building resilient and robust services, contributing to critical projects with minimal supervision required.
This role necessitates full-time onsite presence at the Palo Alto office to support collaborative team dynamics and inventive problem-solving strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and nurture a team of skilled engineers, providing both cultural and technical leadership
- Foster team growth while shaping a culture of open communication, craftsmanship, and ownership
- Ensure quality and timely delivery of the team's work
- Oversee technology and services powering BitGo Prime, covering trading, lending, settlement, and more
- Act as a positive liaison between engineering teams and product operations, support, compliance, and business stakeholders
- Own and be accountable for key performance indicators related to internal operational efficiency, client experience aspects, and service uptime
- Promote comprehensive documentation and knowledge sharing
- Collaborate with management and product teams to plan, estimate, and prioritize roadmap objectives
- Align the team with broader company goals and meet client expectations
Skills & Experience

- Proven managerial experience in an engineering department
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years leading engineers

- Demonstrated capability in recruiting top engineering talent
- Experience in cross-team collaboration and supporting broader departmental objectives

Pay Transparency Notice: The salary for this role ranges between $180,000 - $240,000 USD, depending on level and location. In addition to the base salary, equity, an annual performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package are included.
