Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations teams to ensure comprehensive record-keeping spanning user experiences to financial reports
• Execute monthly closures for entities, encompassing billing, journal entries, account reconciliations, and account evaluations
• Review reconciliations and support schedules prepared by fellow accounting team members
• Coordinate with entity controllers to finalize inter-company reconciliations, ensuring compliance with group and local statutory stipulations
• Serve as a proficient resource in local accounting and financial reporting matters, supporting the Global Consolidation team in the consolidation process and ensuring timely reporting
• Lead local audits, statutory filings, and regulatory submissions with a focus on accuracy and punctuality
• Identify opportunities for process enhancements to optimize the efficiency and accuracy of month-end reporting
• Implement relevant financial systems as necessary

Requirements

• At least 8 years of cumulative experience in industry, preferably within FinTech, and Big 4 public accounting, with a minimum of 5 years in a general accounting or controllership capacity
• Bachelor's degree and a Qualified Accountant certification (CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent)
• Proficient in International accounting and well-versed in IFRS
• Demonstrated capacity to design and implement efficient operational controls and processes in a heavily regulated environment
• Familiarity with Netsuite or a comparable ERP system is essential
• Independent and adaptable to the evolving landscape of a rapidly expanding company
• Thrive in a fast-paced learning environment and willing to shoulder additional responsibilities when necessary
• Keen interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology, with a proactive approach to staying abreast of industry developments
