Description
Nibiru Chain is seeking an EVM smart contract engineer to lead significant projects impacting the business long-term. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to address complex engineering challenges and establish processes and tools to enhance the efficiency of the engineering team.
Position Start Date: Available Now
Salary: Competitive
Responsibilities:
- Design & Develop: Create, test, and deploy smart contracts on Ethereum and EVM-compatible chains.
- Smart Contract Security: Implement rigorous testing frameworks, security best practices, and audits to ensure contract integrity.
- Protocol Architecture: Collaborate with the product team to design and improve protocols, ensuring they adhere to high-performance and user-friendly standards.
- Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers, back-end services, and other teams to seamlessly integrate smart contracts into the broader ecosystem.
- Research & Innovation: Stay informed about the latest developments in Ethereum and DeFi standards, EIPs, and emerging trends, and suggest relevant enhancements to the architecture.
- Documentation: Generate clear and concise documentation for both internal and external developer use.
Technical Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development, ideally focusing on blockchain/crypto.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy production-grade smart contracts in Solidity.
- Proficiency in Web3 tooling (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle, Remix, Foundry) and version control (Git).
- Thorough understanding of EVM, gas optimization, and on-chain transaction processing.
- Familiarity with essential Ethereum concepts such as ERC-20, ERC-721, ERC-1155, among others.
