Film Innovation Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot issues related to the visual dubbing process of film and TV shows.
• Investigate and address problems within a small UK-based team.
• Uphold high-quality standards in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
• Develop a deep understanding of the visual dubbing process to effectively identify and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with other supervisors in the UK and the US to improve processes continuously for enhanced efficiency and quality.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with TV/film post-production workflows from filming to final delivery.
• Proficiency in handling various file formats and codecs for audio and video, including EXRs.
• Knowledge of color spaces such as ACES color space.
• Proficiency in industry-standard editing software like DaVinci Resolve, Avid, or Adobe Premiere.
• Fundamental knowledge of compositing and attention to color grading.
• Understanding of audio synchronization, especially concerning lip sync.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude towards work and outstanding time management abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving project requirements.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with task management databases like Flow (ShotGrid/Shotgun).
• Interest in language and linguistics.
• Passion for Generative Artificial Intelligence technology.
• Prior experience working in a team environment under tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with software like Foundry Nuke.
• Experience in picture quality control and review processes.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software.
• Basic programming skills in Python or Bash.
• Previous experience in object or facial tracking.
