An exciting opening is available for a dynamic and driven Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) specialist to be part of Binance's Sanctions and Anti-Bribery & Corruption (AB&C) Compliance unit.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate expertise in financial crime compliance, covering risks, controls, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Assume the role of L2 Compliance to manage name screening alerts concerning PEP, Adverse Media, and Sanctions that cannot be resolved at the L1 Operations level.
• Conduct comprehensive Open Sourced Intelligence Research, evaluate potential true positives for risk assessment, and communicate findings to senior compliance stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the team to offer practical advice to stakeholders on managing financial crime, sanctions, and AB&C risks effectively, and update them on relevant developments.
• Assess processes for recognizing, documenting, and evaluating compliance risks associated with Binance's operations, providing advice and necessary scrutiny.
• Review escalated FCC/Sanctions/AB&C related risk profiles from internal departments to evaluate their impact on internal projects, policies, procedures, processes, and systems.

Requirements:

• Over 3 years of relevant experience in financial crime or sanctions compliance.
• Proficient in banking operations, processes, protocols, and systems.
• Prior experience in startup or fintech industry would be advantageous.
• Possession of a university degree.
• Certification in ACAMS or ACFCS preferred.
• Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
• Strong analytical, writing skills, and sound judgment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Capability to work efficiently under deadlines and prioritize tasks autonomously.
• Self-assured, results-oriented, aiming to find innovative solutions.
• Experience in stakeholder management.
