Firmware Applications Engineering Intern (f/m) (6 months)

The Firmware Application team, part of our embedded software organization, is responsible for developing and managing embedded applications for our hardware wallets. You will collaborate closely with a dynamic team on projects involving Bitcoin, Ethereum, Starknet, and more. Your role will also involve supporting external developers in creating apps for Ledger users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a team of 8 engineers to develop C/Rust embedded apps and tools.
- Create and maintain SDKs, emulators, test frameworks, and developer tools for optimal development experience.
- Manage the deployment of 150+ open-source apps through robust CI pipelines.
- Provide support to the global developer community contributing to our open-source ecosystem.
Your Mission:
- Evaluate and transition Jenkins configurations to GitHub Actions.
- Ensure seamless integration and security of SDKs, libraries, and dependencies on GitHub Actions.
- Refactor workflows for specific SDK versions and establish reporting mechanisms.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Debian-based environments.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, Git, Bash, and Python for scripting and programming.
- Knowledge of C, build systems (e.g., Makefile) is a bonus.
- Strong command of English and French languages.
