Fraud Prevention and Regulatory Risk Manager

The Fraud Prevention and Regulatory Risk Manager role entails strategic leadership in developing and implementing fraud prevention strategies focusing on digital products, particularly digital accounts. This position is instrumental in safeguarding the organization against fraud risks while ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of fraud prevention and detection mechanisms across digital platforms and the PIX environment.
- Serve as a proficient contributor on regulatory obligations pertinent to fintech and financial services.
- Devise, introduce, and enhance anti-fraud frameworks, policies, and controls.
- Propel initiatives for continual enhancement of fraud detection systems and operational procedures.
- Collaborate closely with Technology, Product, Compliance, and Legal teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Conduct data and metric analysis to pinpoint fraud patterns, trends, and vulnerabilities.
- Establish and monitor KPIs related to fraud prevention and operational effectiveness.
- Manage third-party vendors and fraud prevention tools.
- Oversee, guide, and nurture the fraud prevention team.
- Facilitate internal and external audits and foster relations with regulators.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in fraud prevention within financial services or fintech sectors.
- Profound understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
- Demonstrated track record in implementing and enhancing anti-fraud systems and processes.
- Proficiency with transaction monitoring, KYC, AML, and authentication tools.
- Strong analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Leadership abilities and prior project management experience.
- Advanced or fluent proficiency in English.
