About the Position
Seeking a full-stack engineer who excels in a dynamic startup environment. Collaborate closely with the product team to bring concepts to life as features utilized by countless esports enthusiasts. Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features, from inception to deployment, engaging in product deliberations, coding for both frontend and backend, launch to production, and overseeing performance.
- Foster a culture of swift deployment and iterative development based on real-world feedback, prioritizing functional features over perfection.
- Possess a product-oriented mindset, actively contributing to determining the product roadmap and offering technical guidance to shape the final deliverables.
- Operate across the technology stack, working on various components such as frontend (React), backend (Node.js), databases, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
- Comprehend the target product, designed for esports teams and gaming brands, demonstrating a grasp of gamification’s significance and fan engagement principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in React for frontend, Nest.js for backend, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, and cloud services like AWS.
- Experience in startup environments, showcasing rapid delivery capabilities in resource-constrained settings.
- Product-focused approach that prioritizes user experience and problem-solving over technical functionalities.
- Genuine interest in gaming and esports, recognizing the industry landscape and its importance to our work.
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, API integrations, and previous startup exposure.
- Previously developed functionality involving gamification, rewards systems, or community engagement.
- Familiarity with third-party API usage - Discord, Twitter, or Steam integration.
