Role Overview
We are seeking a Global Head of Compliance Operations who will oversee and enhance our compliance operations, focusing on AML/CFT and sanctions compliance. Reporting to the Group Chief Compliance Officer, you will lead a team of professionals and drive operational excellence across all markets.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily compliance operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
- Develop strategic initiatives to improve operational processes and systems, aligning with industry best practices.
- Provide direction and mentorship to the compliance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with different teams to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for expansion and manage resources to scale compliance operations globally.
- Maintain accurate reporting on operational metrics for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related discipline.
- Extensive experience in compliance operations, particularly within the crypto or fintech sector.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with a background in leading global operational teams.
- Proficiency in cryptocurrency regulatory requirements and compliance best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with compliance tools and systems in the crypto industry, like Chainalysis.
- Experience in establishing operational hubs.
