Anchorage Digital is a prominent player in the field of digital assets, providing a range of services such as custody, staking, trading, and governance, underpinned by top-tier security infrastructure. Pioneering as the first federally chartered crypto bank in the U.S., Anchorage Digital boasts significant backing from industry leaders including Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, and Visa, with its impressive Series D valuation exceeding $3 billion. Established in 2017 in San Francisco, Anchorage Digital now operates from several global locations, including New York, Porto, Singapore, and Sioux Falls.

In the role of Director of Government Solutions GTM & Operations, you will be pivotal in driving growth and operational efficiency for our public sector business. More specifically, your role will demand a deep understanding of government operations alongside digital asset infrastructure. Accountability for leading solution design, in collaboration with Legal, Product, Engineering, and other teams, is a core aspect of this role. Successful execution requires leveraging various company functions, such as trading and staking, to offer clients the full potential of the platform.

Your close partnership with the Head of Government Solutions will focus on cultivating strategic public sector relationships and market expansion initiatives, forming a cohesive front for advancing the firm's government endeavors.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

  • Shapes the landscape of secure digital asset management on a wider scale within the public sector.
  • Drives adoption and enhances the operational credibility of the firm in the public sector.
  • Leads client experience enhancement and operationalization of custody procedures and governance frameworks.
  • Works autonomously in navigating complex regulatory and operational landscapes.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Collaborate extensively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal to synchronize internal delivery.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the Head of Government Solutions to refine GTM strategy.

Communication and Influence:

  • Establish trust with senior government officials across legal, operational, and technical sectors.
  • Represent the company with authenticity and clarity in agency meetings and other high-profile engagements.
  • Distill intricate public sector needs into actionable roadmaps for internal implementation.
  • Efficiently partner cross-functionally to advocate for institutional client interests.

  • Prior program management experience with a U.S. federal agency involved in digital asset programs.
  • Track record of collaboration with government, law enforcement, and regulatory bodies to implement digital assets strategy and policies.
  • Willingness to travel for on-site support to high-priority clients for their digital asset needs.
  • Proficient in crafting and delivering responses to government RFP/RFI submissions.
  • Strong orientation towards high performance, demonstrating the ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and consistently deliver results.
