As a Government Solutions Architect under the Custody department, you will act as a strategic consultant and technical ally to public sector entities seeking input on and integration of digital asset infrastructure. Your role will involve advocating for our solutions to government agencies, leading technical solutioning efforts, and representing the organization in high-stakes scenarios.
This position necessitates proficiency in both government operations and crypto infrastructure. You should display autonomy in execution, cross-team influence sans formal authority, and adeptness at operating in high-pressure, uncertain environments. Your duties will encompass leading solution design alongside cross-functional teams such as Legal, Product, and Engineering, as well as collaborating with various business lines, including trading and staking, to offer clients a holistic platform experience. Should the need arise, you may be requested to provide onsite support during implementations or other sensitive operations.
Meaningful collaboration with the Head of Government Solutions, who takes charge of cultivating key public sector relationships and driving market growth, is essential to ensure strategic alignment and seamless deployment.

Technical Skills includes deep comprehension of crypto custody infrastructure and secure key management, proven track record in handling complex RFP/RFI submissions, and prior experience in advising or implementing systems for governmental entities with a focus on digital assets or crypto operations. Additionally, familiarity with institutional-grade reporting, compliance frameworks, and secure integrations within regulated environments is valued.
Complexity and Impact of Work encompenses tasks like working closely with clients to enhance custody protocols, spearheading public sector deployments in critical settings, independently navigating regulatory complexities, and shaping secure digital asset management strategies for governments on a large scale.
Organizational Knowledge entails fostering collaboration across various internal teams like Sales, Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal and maintaining communication channels with the Head of Government Solutions to tailor go-to-market strategies based on insights from in-field implementation.
Communication and Influence focuses on fostering trust with senior government officials, representing the organization articulately in agency forums, converting intricate public sector requirements into actionable internal plans, and engaging effectively with product, policy, and GTM departments to champion institutional client needs.
You might excel in this role if you possess:
- 10-15 years of experience, with at least 3 years in crypto or digital assets and exposure to institutional-grade custody solutions.
- Past involvement with a U.S. federal agency implementing or evaluating digital asset programs.
- Active or inactive Secret/Top Secret clearance, a history of working within government, law enforcement, or regulatory environments with digital components, and a knack for promoting intricate crypto solutions.
- Willingness to provide onsite support for high-priority clients or investigations and experience in creating or aiding government RFP/RFI submissions from both technical and execution standpoints.
- An innate drive for high-performance, adeptness at operating independently amidst ambiguity, and consistency in delivery.
