As the Head of Commercial Programme Management at R3, you will hold a crucial leadership role, steering strategic initiatives within the Commercial division to ensure alignment with the company's overarching objectives. Reporting directly to the Commercial Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the Commercial Project Management Office (PMO), managing impactful programs, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for R3. This position is essential in shaping the commercial strategy and ensuring its successful implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership of the Commercial PMO:
- Establish and lead a high-performing Commercial PMO function that aligns with the organization's strategic goals.
- Define and supervise the execution of intricate, multifaceted programs across the commercial division to drive measurable business results.
- Develop and implement frameworks to effectively manage program interdependencies, risks, and priorities.
Ownership of the Commercial Transformation Programme:
- Design and spearhead the end-to-end Commercial Transformation Programme, encompassing product, pricing, customer engagement, and other critical aspects.
- Collaborate with senior leaders from various divisions to ensure alignment and validation of the transformation strategy.
- Set clear deliverables, timelines, and success metrics, while holding cross-functional teams accountable for delivery.
- Present executive-level updates and reports, ensuring transparency and prompt resolution of issues.
- Devise and execute a transition plan to integrate transformation initiatives into routine business operations post-program completion.
Enhancing Customer Engagement Processes:
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Sales teams to devise and manage effective processes for engagement status reporting to inform commercial strategies.
Resource and Initiative Management:
- Optimize resource allocation within the commercial division to support strategic sales initiatives, RFP responses, and business development endeavors.
- Develop and implement a structured approach for evaluating and completing RFPs in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor commitments in sales proposals and coordinate with technical and product management teams for seamless delivery.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Risk Management:
- Serve as a critical link between the Commercial and Technical PMO teams, ensuring alignment and addressing potential misalignments in customer and product requirements.
- Proactively identify, communicate, and mitigate risks across programs and initiatives.
Performance Management and Executive Reporting:
- Deliver high-quality reporting to the Operating Committee (OpCo) on strategic initiatives and commercial progress.
- Lead the Commercial division's contributions to the annual planning process to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.

- Knowledge or exposure to financial technology and innovation.
- Previous experience in a start-up or scale-up environment.
