Position overview
The Head of Content Marketing, reporting to the VP of Marketing, will be pivotal in shaping and executing Xapo Bank's content strategy to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a coherent content marketing strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives and brand positioning.
- Lead SEO initiatives to boost visibility and organic search rankings by collaborating closely with web developers.
- Supervise content production across various formats such as blogs, white papers, video, and social media to ensure consistency in brand, quality, style, and user optimization.
- Manage the editorial calendar to ensure timely content production and publication.
- Analyze content marketing data and SEO performance to refine strategies continually for maximum effectiveness and ROI.
- Manage content and design for Xapo Bank's website.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline content across all channels effectively.
- Expand and lead the content marketing team, nurturing talent to meet evolving market demands.
- Cultivate relationships with key influencers and external partners to enhance outreach efforts.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and competitor strategies to maintain a leading position with our content.
Skills needed
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar content marketing role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields. Advanced degree preferred.
- Proven track record in content marketing and SEO with demonstrable success in enhancing organic search and engagement.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data for informed content decisions.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a deep understanding of audience engagement.
- Proficiency in content management systems, SEO tools, and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, SEMrush, and Ahrefs.
