As a Senior Data Analyst with expertise in finance, you will be responsible for automating data processes, utilizing advanced analytics for financial decision-making, and developing data products for our Finance Team. Working closely with the Head of Data and the Finance Team, the ideal candidate will possess both technical skills and business acumen to contribute to our financial operations and strategy.
Responsibilities:
Implement advanced analytics and predictive modeling to automate and innovate financial data processes, providing accurate forecasts and supporting financial planning and investment decisions.
Build dynamic forecasting models utilizing tools like BigQuery to offer real-time financial insights based on our Unit Economics Model.
Provide actionable recommendations and interpretation of data to team members, supporting their daily tasks.
Communicate findings effectively through visualizations and storytelling.
Develop self-service data tools to empower the Finance team to generate custom reports independently, reducing reliance on ad-hoc requests.
Support the Finance team in identifying financial efficiencies and offering strategic recommendations.
Address reporting requirements, including ad-hoc requests and recurring financial and regulatory reports.
Maintain the quality, reliability, and accuracy of all reports and analyses.
Continually seek opportunities to improve data-related processes, including report automation and advanced analytics techniques.
Required Skills:
Advanced skills in SQL and Python, with a focus on data analysis in a finance-centric role.
Strong data modeling and wrangling abilities, including expertise in time series forecasting and predictive analytics.
Proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as BigQuery and Looker.
Excellent business acumen, customer-centricity, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Methodical and logical approach to work with great attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of GCP products and services, including BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Vertex AI, is a plus.
Familiarity with fintech or the crypto market is a plus.
