We are searching for an experienced and dynamic individual to assume the role of Head of Software Development. In this capacity, you will lead the strategic direction and execution of our software products. You will oversee a team of talented software engineers, working closely with various departments to ensure the successful development and deployment of top-notch software solutions.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement the software development strategy in alignment with company goals.
Foster innovation and ongoing enhancements in software development processes and technologies.
Provide leadership and guidance to the software development team to nurture a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Team Management:
Lead a high-performing software development team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment to encourage growth and creativity.
Establish clear objectives, goals, and performance metrics for the team in line with organizational priorities.
Technical Oversight:
Offer technical leadership throughout various aspects of software development, such as architecture, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Evaluate existing software systems, identifying opportunities for optimization, scalability, and performance enhancements.
Keep abreast of emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
Project Management:
Manage planning, scheduling, and execution of software development projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and priorities.
Mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies related to software development projects to ensure successful outcomes.
Communication and Collaboration:
Maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, milestones, and deliverables.
Foster collaboration between software development, product management, QA, and other teams for integrated solutions.
Serve as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in software development, with a proven track record in delivering complex software projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in software development technologies and methodologies, including Python, PHP, among others.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to motivate and mentor team members effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage resources efficiently, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile practices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines is valuable.
- Previous experience in Bitcoin Mining is advantageous but not mandatory.
