Job Responsibilities
- Support the Global Head of HRC/EDD in overseeing the Global High-Risk Client program and its operational procedures.
- Offer strategic guidance and insights on high-risk customer monitoring and other key HRC/EDD initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the Global High-Risk Client program and its operational procedures.
- Implement and supervise the high-risk customer monitoring program.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to improve products and systems related to HRC/EDD.
- Document global HRC/EDD requirements, maintain global standards, and compile local requirements per country.
- Work with local MLROs to ensure localization when necessary.
- Lead remediation projects associated with HRC/EDD.
- Act as the primary stakeholder in the customer risk scoring methodology.
- Stay updated on global HRC/EDD standards and local requirements in operational regions.
- Manage prioritization of HRC/EDD projects.
- Monitor and manage HRC/EDD metrics.
- Supervise global escalation processes related to HRC/EDD.
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in EDD.
- Possession of ACAMS, ACFCS, or equivalent industry certifications.
- 4+ years of managerial experience.
- 4+ years of experience managing periodic reviews and monitoring high-risk customers.
- Proficiency in global CDD/EDD requirements.
- Experience in implementing customer risk scoring frameworks.
- In-depth understanding of AML/CFT and sanctions risks.
- Knowledge of global licensing requirements for financial services and crypto-related business activities.
- Familiarity with complex beneficial ownership structures.
- Strong communication, analytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and writing skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced remote work environment.
