Key Responsibilities:

You will take charge of overseeing and managing Circle's immigration processes and global mobility initiatives. Leading our immigration program and processes, you will contribute to enhancing the productivity of Circle employees. Serving as the main contact point for various stakeholders, including hiring managers, candidates, employees, Talent team, and external legal advisors, you will be responsible for addressing immigration-related queries efficiently. Your role involves collaborating with external partners, ensuring compliance with regulations, facilitating international assignments and relocations, and staying abreast of all relevant governmental standards and requirements to secure visas for sponsored employees effectively.

Job Focus Areas:

Immigration:

  • Collaborate with external immigration attorneys to oversee business and employment visas, permanent residency applications, and citizenship applications with a focus on exceptional service delivery.
  • Offer guidance on visa processing timelines, requirements, risks, and costs for potential candidates.
  • Maintain and review visa records promptly, ensuring timely initiation of extensions.
  • Ensure full compliance with immigration regulatory records.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements to boost efficiency and elevate the employee experience.
  • Handle complex immigration issues alongside external counsels, providing resolutions to employees and the organization.
  • Educate staff on visa and green card application procedures.
  • Disseminate global immigration policies and procedures within the region.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits and contribute to ad-hoc projects.

Global Mobility:

  • Develop and uphold a global mobility program aligned with Circle's international growth objectives.
  • Foster new alliances with relocation vendors to facilitate domestic transfers and international relocations and assignments, including cost projections and relocation/assignment documentation.
  • Manage complex mobility cases in collaboration with relocation vendors.
  • Monitor compliance and risk factors in immigration and mobility realms.
  • Oversee payment obligations related to the mobility program.
  • Work with HR Business Partners to structure and communicate relocation packages.
  • Promote awareness of global mobility policies and practices globally.
  • Collaborate with different stakeholders to devise solutions for international moves.
  • Offer guidance on international employee mobilization matters, establishing a knowledge base.
  • Propose innovative approaches to streamline global mobility operations.
