We are looking for a diligent and inquisitive Member of Compliance, Analytics & Automation who possesses substantial expertise in data analysis and science. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the enhancement, execution, and streamlining of compliance programs across all relevant legal entities under Anchorage Digital.

This position will suit a proactive technologist who excels in tackling intricate challenges within a dynamic regulatory landscape. You will delve into a diverse range of compliance sectors and embed your data skills to fortify Anchorage Digital's global compliance framework through analytics, automation, and AI tools.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in Compliance-related data tables and models, with the ability to conduct dependable data analysis accurately and independently.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to automate key compliance procedures and workflows using internal tools for enhanced efficiency and reduced manual labor.

Impactfulness and Complexity of Work:

  • Aid in developing and refining compliance models and data tools for identifying risks, monitoring controls, and ensuring data quality. This involves contributing to the establishment, automation, and enhancement of controls, processes, and dashboards for improved compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses and prepare compliance reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Organizational Knowledge:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, etc.) to implement and enhance tools and processes within the broader Compliance department.
  • Apply knowledge of Anchorage Digital business to adjust data analysis and models as required.

Communication and Influence:

  • Identify opportunities to merge and leverage existing AI tools to enhance the productivity and analytical abilities of the Compliance teams.
  • Keep abreast of AI developments, actively explore innovative ways to boost efficiency using internal AI tools or other creative methods, and share insights with stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Strong command of SQL, Python or R, and proficient in advanced Excel/Google Sheets functions.
  • Experience in or enthusiasm for automation principles, utilizing existing AI tools, and exploring new AI technologies to boost productivity.
  • Capacity for taking ownership, working independently, and maintaining a team-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior background in financial services, the crypto industry, or fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Basic understanding of compliance, financial crimes, and risk management.
  • "Hamilton" soundtrack emotional experience (although not required).
