Infrastructure Security Engineer (DevSecOps)

Binance, a global blockchain ecosystem and cryptocurrency provider, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Security Engineer (DevSecOps) to enhance and automate their platform's security. The ideal candidate should adeptly address complex technical challenges while simplifying processes. Duties include designing and implementing security solutions for the cloud infrastructure, collaborating with other teams to ensure compliance, and promoting general security best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new and update existing security measures to safeguard the infrastructure.
• Create secure infrastructure foundations like AMI, Bastion Instance, Air Gapped deployment, etc.
• Utilize security analytics through log ingestion to detect attacker tactics and patterns.
• Offer solutions for access auditing, risk assessments, and vulnerability evaluations.
• Develop anomaly detection models and oversee pen testing efforts.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in AWS or other cloud technologies.
• Extensive experience with GNU/Linux systems.
• Background in Python, JavaScript, or Go programming languages.
• Knowledge of security automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cloud-native security tools like Secrets management and network segmentation.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Mandatory proficiency in Mandarin to liaise effectively with relevant counterparts.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Advanced knowledge of Hashicorp Terraform.
• Familiarity with security tools and technologies including vulnerability scanners and compliance frameworks.
• Thorough understanding of security best practices like secure infrastructure, security automation, and DevSecOps methodologies.
