Institutional Sales Manager
The institutional sales team offers a unique opportunity for individuals to establish and expand their institutional/high-net worth client base. You will be an integral part of the journey, guiding clients through their initial cryptocurrency investments and creating tailored crypto products that are innovative in the market. As a member of the operations team, you will work closely with various stakeholders, including sales traders, account managers, and sales managers, contributing to the growth of our evolving infrastructure.
Key Aspects of Your Role:
- Building and nurturing institutional/high-net worth clientele within the dynamic crypto and blockchain industry.
- Demonstrating autonomy and expertise in identifying and attracting institutional leads, from client onboarding to developing customized crypto solutions tailored to their unique needs.
- Contributing to the evolution of traditional financial products as they transition into the crypto sphere, actively participating in the design and presentation of offerings for institutional clients.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and contacting potential institutional client leads.
- Understanding client requirements and promoting relevant crypto products like market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Enhancing institutional business awareness by attending conferences, engaging with industry players, and expanding our institutional client network.
- Conducting community engagement activities to broaden institutional connections in the crypto space.
- Researching market trends and competitors within the crypto institutional landscape.
- Negotiating and finalizing client or partnership agreements.
- Recommending new crypto institutional services based on market analysis.
- Maintaining ongoing communication with institutional clients, gathering feedback, and suggesting product enhancements.
Key Performance Indicators Tracked:
- Number of new clients acquired.
- Transaction volume generated by clients.
- Revenue and profitability metrics.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in Institutional Outbound Sales.
- Prior experience (1+ years) in digital assets, cryptocurrency, or web3 outbound sales for exchanges, custodians, or prime brokers.
- Good understanding of institutional products such as market maker/taker programs, OTC, custody, and staking.
- Established network or client portfolio within the cryptocurrency industry, including hedge funds, trading firms, banks, and other related entities.
- Demonstrable track record of client relationship management, business development, and drafting agreements.
- Proficient in written and oral English communication.
