Institutional Sales Manager - APAC
Job description:
As a member of the institutional sales team, you will have the opportunity to grow and take charge of your institutional and high-net-worth client base. Join us on an exciting journey, from onboarding clients to their first crypto instrument, to creating unique crypto products tailored to individual clients. If you're on our operations team, you will have a diverse scope of work, collaborating with sales traders, account managers, and sales managers, with a key role in scaling up our expanding infrastructure.
What makes this role exciting:
- Build relationships with institutional and high-net-worth clients in the rapidly growing crypto and blockchain industry. There are no limitations to who your potential clients could be!
- Take charge and lead in identifying and pitching institutional leads. Celebrate successes, whether it's onboarding a client to their first crypto instrument or customizing a new crypto product for them.
- Use your creativity and expertise to tailor financial services products to the crypto space. Pitch and develop additional offerings that may be of interest, such as credit or custody services, with full support from the team.
A day on the job may entail:
- Identifying and contacting institutional client leads
- Understanding client needs and pitching crypto products
- Representing the company at conferences and engaging with institutional players
- Expanding institutional presence by participating in community reach activities and crypto community gatherings
- Researching market and competitor trends in the crypto institutional space
- Drafting and finalizing client or partnership agreements
- Proposing new crypto institutional offerings
- Maintaining ongoing communication with institutional clients, gathering feedback, and suggesting product improvements
Requirements:
- 3+ years of sales experience in financial services, such as sales trading, OTC sales, FX sales, ETFs, etc.
- Experience with cryptocurrencies and a network of clients in the cryptocurrency space is a plus.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior institutional sales position.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, manage, and monetize relationships with clients or partners.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with examples of professional writing and presentations.
- Proficiency in English.
