Institutional Sales Manager - EMEA
The institutional sales team offers you a rewarding opportunity to develop and expand your client base in the institutional and high-net worth sectors. You will be involved in the entire process, from onboarding clients to introducing them to cryptocurrency instruments and even creating customized crypto products that are unique in the market. If you are part of the operations team, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities, working closely with sales traders, account managers, and sales managers, as well as supporting our growing infrastructure.

- You will have the chance to define and build your client portfolio in the rapidly growing crypto and blockchain industry, without any limitations on who your clients could be.
- You will take ownership and play a leading role in identifying and pitching to institutional leads. Your successes can take various forms, such as onboarding clients to their first crypto instrument or customizing unique crypto products for them.
- You will be involved in shaping and tailoring products specifically for institutional clients, with the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise. This could include exploring other financial services offerings, like credit and custody, with the full support of our team.
What a typical day on the job may involve:
- Identifying and reaching out to potential institutional clients.
- Understanding client needs and presenting relevant products offered by our company.
- Attending conferences and representing the company to engage with institutional players, increasing awareness of our business products and services.
- Participating in community reach activities, attending crypto community gatherings and meetings to expand and deepen our institutional presence.
- Researching market and competitor trends in the crypto institutional space.
- Drafting and closing client or partnership agreements.
- Proposing new crypto institutional offerings.
- Maintaining regular contact with institutional clients, keeping track of their feedback, and making recommendations for product improvements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial services sales, such as sales trading, OTC sales, FX sales, ETFs, liquidity pools, CFDs, or prime brokerage services.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in the cryptocurrency industry and having a network of clients.
- Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior institutional sales position.
- Demonstrable track record of initiating, managing, and monetizing relationships with clients or partners, including acquiring institutional clients, driving business results, and drafting documentation and agreements.
- Excellent command of professional written and oral English, with the ability to provide writing and presentation samples.
