Investment Associate (BUIDL Manager)
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive individual to join our team as an Investment Associate (BUIDL Manager). In this role, you will be tasked with overseeing the monitoring of critical activities, identifying promising BUIDLs (projects), and delivering actionable recommendations to decision-makers. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the enhancement and standardization of BUIDL review processes, ensuring seamless collaboration within the team. Furthermore, you will be responsible for supervising the tracking of grantee progress and conducting regular meetings to update decision-makers on key developments.
This position is pivotal in ensuring the selection of high-quality projects, maintaining consistent follow-up, and fostering the success of the DoraHacks ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- BUIDL Screening and Recommendation: Monitor activities to pinpoint high-potential BUIDLs. Assess submissions and craft detailed recommendations for decision-makers.
- Grantee Progress Tracking: Regularly track grantee project progress to ensure milestone achievement. Maintain precise records and provide timely updates to stakeholders. Identify challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
- Establish and Optimize BUIDL Review Standards: Aid in refining BUIDL review standards to enhance project selection accuracy. Promote transparency and consistency while improving team collaboration.
- Establish and Optimize BUIDL Follow-Up Standards: Develop effective follow-up protocols for streamlined monitoring of grantee progress. Facilitate seamless communication for timely updates.
- Organize Regular Reporting Meetings: Schedule and manage meetings to inform decision-makers of progress, insights, and recommendations. Prepare concise and actionable reports for strategic decision-making.
- Adherence to Guidelines: Adhere strictly to established BUIDL review and follow-up guidelines to ensure rigorous project evaluation and management.
- Technical Understanding and Learning Ability: Demonstrate an interest or foundational understanding of Web3, quantum computing, and space technology. Exhibit strong learning capabilities to acquire knowledge in these domains.
- Organizational and Collaborative Skills: Skillfully organize and lead meetings, delivering clear and actionable reports. Collaborate effectively with internal teams to facilitate efficient information flow.
- Execution and Responsibility: Demonstrate strong execution skills by prioritizing timely and accurate task completion. Uphold high levels of responsibility and accountability in all job aspects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in management, technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, portfolio management, or a relevant role (experience with open-source projects is advantageous).
- Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, and project management platforms like Asana and Trello.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to deliver concise updates and reports.
- Interest in exploring and comprehending cutting-edge technologies and industry trends.
