Java Developer (Exchange/Trading Bots)

The exchange team is responsible for developing and maintaining an advanced trading platform that operates globally in regions such as APAC, EMEA, and North America. The team's objective is to deliver a smooth and secure trading experience for clients.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and implementing products and solutions for the derivatives exchange platform involving various micro-service components
• Collaborating with the product management team to enhance existing models, products, and algorithms
• Participating in code audit, testing, and release processes
• Creating a deployable system with automated testing, continuous integration, and delivery capabilities
• Identifying and resolving backend infrastructure and platform issues
• Addressing cross-stack problems effectively
• Working closely with the security team to manage high-security and scalable backend services
• Managing code and function implementation documentation
• Collaborating with the DevOps team to enhance the technology stack continuously

Requirements

• Have 3-5 years of Java programming experience
• Ideally, have experience developing trading applications for equities, FX, or derivative products in traditional or crypto markets at Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, or Exchanges
• Proficient in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing
• Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude towards improvement, and a sense of responsibility for assigned tasks
• Eager to learn, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to work efficiently under pressure
• Experience with derivative products is a plus
