Jr Financial Analyst

The Finance & Administration team at our dynamic firm covers various essential functions ranging from Financial Control & Business Performance Management to Procurement, Tax, and Treasury as well as Operations. They collectively drive our global finance initiatives, showcasing meticulous attention to detail and adeptly juggling multiple exciting project scopes.

This role involves a hybrid work arrangement, with responsibilities split between office and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits and withdrawals from customer accounts
• Review cash reconciliations and handle journal entries pertaining to cash movements and payments
• Conduct daily reconciliations of cash books, debit card transactions, chargebacks, and connection errors
• Prepare daily Segregation Statement
• Analyze trading activities, margin requirements, and liquidity management
• Manage Treasury inbox and Salesforce for member-specific queries
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators related to trading volumes and revenue generation
• Support in automating daily/monthly processes to enhance efficiency
• Prepare ad-hoc analysis
• Assist with various administrative tasks as required
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts including accruals, prepaids, and intercompany accounts
• Collaborate with US Treasurer, US Accountant, and Accounting Associate on daily and monthly processing
• Support Finance team across different Crypto.com entities
• Assist in preparing documentation for audits and regulatory examinations
• Manage Accounts Payable processes like purchase orders, invoice review/submission, and payment processing
• Ensure timely vendor payments to maintain current accounts
• Maintain a current supplier database with accurate details
• Contribute to the evolution of processes within the new Finance structure at Crypto.com
• Execute internal control procedures to ensure record accuracy

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance with strong academic background
• 0-1 years of relevant finance experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Quick learner and self-motivated individual
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, with expertise in handling large datasets
• Experience in FCMs, broker-dealers, or financial markets preferred
• Mandatory interest in financial markets and cryptocurrency
