We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Crypto Analyst with expertise in the cryptocurrency landscape to contribute to our investment strategies and marketing initiatives. This role involves analyzing crypto market dynamics, conducting macroeconomic research, and identifying trends. As a key member of our Investment Team, you will collaborate closely with both the investment and marketing departments and report directly to the Director of Investment Experience. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake research on global macroeconomic trends and assess their potential effects on cryptocurrency markets and specific crypto assets.
• Evaluate key economic indicators, central bank policies, and geopolitical events as they relate to the crypto industry.
• Analyze on-chain data, market sentiment, technical indicators, and fundamental metrics to identify promising investment opportunities and evaluate risks.
• Contribute to due diligence processes for potential crypto investments, including DeFi projects and other crypto assets.
• Assist in developing investment reports, presentations, and related materials for the Investment Team.
• Collaborate with team members within the Investment Team.
• Utilize various crypto investment strategies like staking, futures, lending/borrowing, and options to assess potential investment opportunities.
• Evaluate portfolio performance and conduct backtesting of investment strategies.
• Monitor crypto trends and conversations on relevant platforms, identifying emerging narratives and influential figures.
• Work with the marketing team to create content strategies aligned with crypto community trends.
• Provide regular updates on significant trends to the investment team.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated passion for cryptocurrencies, particularly in the investment aspect.
• Strong grasp of macroeconomic principles and indicators.
• Familiarity with different cryptocurrency ecosystems.
• Basic knowledge of smart contracts.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, motivated, and capable of working independently.
• Active engagement in crypto communities with an understanding of crypto culture.
• Ability to analyze trends on social media effectively.
