Junior Trader (Discretionary Trading)

The job involves being a part of the discretionary trading team to execute and research the current discretionary portfolio. The ideal candidate should have experience in discretionary trading strategies across equities, futures, and currencies. This role offers an opportunity to significantly contribute to a newly established effort within a successful proprietary trading firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in executing discretionary trading strategies across equities, futures, and currencies.
• Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify trading opportunities.
• Monitor market conditions, news, and events for informed trading decisions.
• Collaborate with senior traders and the research team to enhance trading strategies.
• Use Python for data analysis and tool development to improve trading performance.
• Enhance trading systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field from a top university in Taiwan.
• 1-3 years of trading experience in the traditional finance industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a profound understanding of financial markets.
• Basic proficiency in Python for data analysis and tool development.
• Knowledge in cryptocurrency trading is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced trading environment.
