Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage personal workload and prioritize tasks, ensuring timely reporting of significant risks to management.
- Review, verify, and process all client onboarding applications within designated service level agreements.
- Collaborate closely with Front Office and Relationship Partner Teams, directly engaging with clients to gather all necessary documentation for KYB due diligence.
- Demonstrate proficiency in compliance tools like World-Check, Dow Jones, and Jumio, among others.
- Conduct rigorous customer due diligence processes with a two-eye review approach.
- Coordinate with the business for workload planning, prioritize requests, and monitor key renewals.
- Proficiently perform risk assessments, perform periodic reviews, and enhanced due diligence as required.
- Monitor and document any suspicious activities or AML alerts.
- Participate in internal and external training programs, particularly relating to AML/CFT and relevant subjects.
- Undertake general administrative and ancillary tasks related to the specified functions based on business demands.
Requirements:
- Outlined 2-3 years of experience in a corporate onboarding role, encompassing substantial knowledge of compliance regulations and affairs.
- Familiarity with various client types such as Non-Operating/Asset Holding Companies, Governments, and Organizations.
- Fluency in English and Spanish necessary to liaise with global partners and stakeholders effectively.
- Demonstrated proficiency in time management, organization, and relationship-building skills.
- An undergraduate degree is a mandatory requirement.
- Strong writing skills demonstrated.
- Ability to adapt to evolving environments and changing circumstances.
- Familiarity with local laws, regulations, and upcoming virtual currency policies is an added advantage.
