What You'll contribute to:

Responsibilities:
- Scout, share, and mentor on best practices for customer identity and access implementation across frontend and backend systems
- Establish and maintain ongoing oversight of developers' use of JWOT and other access tokens, identifying risks and influencing solution strategies proactively
- Collaborate on an IAM architecture vision to optimize various IAM aspects like toxic roles, privileges management, and shared accounts
- Evaluate the privileges access management space, aligning Circle's unique position with appropriate solutions aligned with organizational objectives
- Partner with the security team to enhance overall security controls for reduced enterprise risks.

Ideal Qualifications:
- Identity architect experience (5+ years) and implementation of identity and access systems in various programming languages (7+ years)
- Proficiency in scalable, reproducible security practices
- Self-driven problem-solver with strong collaborative skills and ability to manage priorities effectively
- Understanding of IAM protocols like SAML, OIDC, OAuth, and PAM
- Familiarity with IAM tools such as Okta, Ping, Sailpoint, or Microsoft
- Exposure to security standards like ISO 27001/27002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Background in financial services or fintech preferred
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cybersecurity, or related field
- Experience in AWS environments
- Software development proficiency in languages like Python, Golang, etc.

- Compensation ranges and packages consider multiple factors including experience, skills, and organizational needs
- Compensation: Base Pay Range - $145,000 to $192,500; Annual Bonus Target - 15%
