Responsibilities

As a leader specializing in clearing and settlement processes in securities processing, you will play a critical role in defining and enhancing functionalities related to stocks, ETFs/mutual funds, derivatives, and bonds. Your task is to ensure high-quality end-user service and optimize straight-through processing rates for financial products throughout the operational life cycle.

Key Tasks

• Lead and strategize clearing and settlement processes
• Define and enforce requirements for efficient trade processing, settlements, and custodial services
• Promote innovation and operational excellence through lean processes
• Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to uphold regulatory best practices
• Maintain clear communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders on settlement-related matters

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in developing or managing a securities processing platform, particularly in Clearing & Settlement
• Profound knowledge of end-to-end clearing and settlement processes for financial instruments
• Ability to translate business requirements into user stories and specifications
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Preferred experience in neobroker, securities platform software company, or similar settings
