About the Role:
We seek a User Acquisition Manager to spearhead and expand our paid and organic growth strategies. This role is a pivotal link between marketing, data, and product, responsible for conceptualizing strategies that attract new users and sustain our growth trajectory. It is an ideal role for someone passionate about performance metrics and energized by the dynamic pace of a startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Paid Acquisition
- Oversee and steer paid media campaigns across various channels such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and programmatic networks
- Effectively allocate and refine budget to enhance user growth and return on ad spend (ROAS)
- Collaborate with design and content teams to elaborate and evolve creative strategies
- Monitor daily campaign performance and implement data-backed optimizations
Organic & Lifecycle Growth
- Identify and amplify organic acquisition channels including SEO, content, referral, and partnerships
- Work closely with the product team to enhance onboarding processes and boost activation rates
- Devise and experiment with referral and incentive schemes to drive organic growth through word-of-mouth
- Scrutinize the entire user funnel from first impression to active user engagement, identifying areas for enhancement
Analytics & Reporting
- Establish, monitor, and report on key acquisition metrics like CAC, LTV, ROAS, and install-to-registration rates
- Create dashboards and reporting frameworks for real-time visibility into channel performance
- Conduct cohort analyses and A/B tests to consistently refine acquisition efficiency
- Collaborate with the data team to ensure accurate attribution and measurement across all channels
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance teams to align growth strategies with platform capabilities and business objectives
- Present campaign performance metrics and strategic suggestions clearly to leadership
- Keep abreast of industry trends, platform modifications, and competitor tactics
Candidate Profile:
- Data-driven: You excel in data evaluation and analysis, basing all decisions on numerical insight
- Creative and strategic: You can zoom in for a compelling ad copy and zoom out to establish strategic direction
- Entrepreneurial: You are comfortable leading independently and initiating processes from scratch
- Effective communicator: You can distill intricate performance data into coherent narratives for diverse audiences
- Comfortable with ambiguity: You thrive in fast-paced startup environments, skillfully prioritizing amidst urgency
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field from a recognized program
- Over 10 years of experience in performance marketing, user acquisition, or growth marketing
- Track record of successfully scaling paid acquisition campaigns with quantifiable ROI
- Proficiency in major ad platforms such as Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with SQL or Python is advantageous
- Experience with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) like Adjust, AppsFlyer, or Branch
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in industries like gaming, entertainment, or consumer apps
- Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO)
- Experience managing agency relationships or internal creative teams
- Background in lifecycle marketing or CRM tools
