As a member of the Compliance Information Technology team, you will be involved in various projects across the organization that span IT risk assessments, readiness evaluations, controls implementation, and continuous monitoring. This highly collaborative role covers multiple service offerings and company entities, including Anchor Labs, Inc., Anchorage Digital Bank, Anchorage Digital Singapore, and Anchorage Digital New York among others.

Technical Skills:
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of principles related to Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), audit methodology, IT risk/controls, SOC, information security, and policy governance.
- Demonstrate proficiency in IT and engineering processes/tools, as well as cloud computing.
- Utilize analytical skills to bridge the gap between the company's business objectives and IT environment in assessing compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with control owners creatively to ensure regulatory requirements are met, managing and tracking findings for remediation (from risk assessments, audits, etc.).
- Experience with GRC management tools like ServiceNow.
Complexity and Impact of Work:
- Participate in detailed testing of IT processes and controls, overseeing tasks such as developing test objectives, identifying key risks, and executing testing under IT Risk Lead oversight.
- Assist in scoping reviews, identifying process risks, determining controls, establishing project timelines, conducting process understanding meetings, creating test scripts, documenting testing outcomes, developing recommendations, and drafting concise reports.
- Work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and translate regulations and compliance obligations into technical controls.
- Drive medium-to-large cross-functional projects with minimal supervision, coordinating activities among project team members.
- Identify process/control gaps, evaluate remediation plans, and contribute to internal and external assessments supporting the company's initiatives.
Organizational Knowledge:
- Consider Anchorage's strategy while collaborating with security, product, design, engineering, legal, TPRM, and external auditors, understanding the impact of compliance across various departments.
- Influence the IT Compliance roadmap and initiatives, aligning them with company priorities.
Communication and Influence:
- Foster a positive work environment through active listening, effective communication, and empathy with team members.
- Uphold the company's culture pillars and exemplify them through interactions.
- Communicate proactively, take ownership of projects/work, and actively seek clarification when needed.
- Collaborate on cross-functional projects, liaise with team members and adjacent departments, translating compliance requirements into actionable processes effectively.
- Build relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders within their domain of expertise, delivering thoughtful and solutions-oriented communications.
Ideal Candidate Traits:
- Sound experience in IT risk and security audits.
- Proficient in managing the complete audit lifecycle.
- Demonstrated success in conducting various risk assessments (e.g., enterprise risk, information security).
- Proven experience automating controls monitoring techniques and managing policies/procedures.
- Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Strong passion for problem-solving, program development, and cross-functional project management.
- CISA certification or equivalent required.
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Security certifications like CISSP, CCSP.
- Hands-on experience with managing GRC processes in tools such as ServiceNow.
- Understanding of crypto staking/governance, past interactions with regulatory authorities/auditors.
- Technical/engineering background or mindset, experience in fintech or financial services industry.
- Emotional affinity towards the soundtrack of Hamilton, reflecting the intrigue of establishing a new financial system.
