Responsibilities of the Protocols team Product Manager include managing the day-to-day operations of a blockchain team. In this role, you collaborate with leading protocols and their investors to develop on-chain solutions such as custody, staking, and governance support. The position necessitates a combination of technical proficiency, business acumen, and leadership qualities to drive new asset support, oversee feature backlogs, and strategize on enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Areas of Evaluation and Impact for this Role:

Technical Skills:

• Independently define project requirements and roadmap in conjunction with digital asset support teams.
• Conduct proactive research on protocol integrations with emerging blockchains, building on-chain solutions that deliver value to protocol foundations and institutional investors.

Complexity and Impact of Work:

• Lead the blockchain team in day-to-day operations and steer cross-team initiatives to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate closely with sales, design, and engineering teams to inspire continual progress and excellence in your area of product ownership.

Organizational Knowledge:

• Have a profound understanding of compliance and legal stipulations to ensure product and service alignment with industry regulations.
• Escalate potential impacts to the appropriate stakeholders and senior leadership as needed.

Communication and Influence:

• Educate the team on client insights and facilitate constructive feedback channels.
• Clearly communicate and advocate the project roadmap to stakeholders, adapting communication strategies for effective internal and external engagement.

Qualifications may align if you:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant product management experience, with expertise in blockchain technology and on-chain transactions.
• Come from an engineering background, enabling effective collaboration with technical teams to solve complex issues.
• Demonstrate empathy, adaptability, and a collaborative nature that complements the organizational culture.
• Exhibit autonomy in decision-making that aligns with strategic goals and a keen focus on optimizing end-user experiences for business value.

Additional Considerations:

• Bonus qualifications include experience in developing smart contracts or dApps and a background in finance.
