For the position of Member of Technical Staff, PlatSec - IT & Security, we require a minimum of 1 day spent working in our New York office located at 470 Park Ave South FL 9N New York, NY 10016.
This role is pivotal in supporting the Information Security Program and IT infrastructure at Anchorage Digital. Key IT projects for this role involve:
- Overseeing and automating processes related to onboarding, role changes, and offboarding, including tasks like inventory management, device deployment, troubleshooting, account provisioning, and cleanup.
- Developing self-service IT & security reporting capabilities to facilitate compliance and provide metrics for senior leadership.
- Implementing and enhancing access control policies in alignment with the principles of least privilege.
As a Member of IT & Security, your responsibilities will inclue:
- Serving as the main contact for IT inquiries and requests.
- Managing significant IT projects from inception through resource allocation, execution, and continual maintenance.
- Contributing to the establishment and enforcement of overarching IT policies, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborating with Security & People Teams to provide relevant training.
- Working with Finance and Engineering teams to optimize software and equipment costs.

- Possess a deep understanding and a proven track record in utilizing IT & Security concepts and program management practices, potentially with knowledge of first line cybersecurity response.

- Enjoy creating, automating, and enhancing observable, repeatable, and auditable processes.
- Have foundational scripting skills in a language like Python or shell.
- Possess basic log analysis skills
- Have contributed to cross-functional projects and have experience collaborating with both your team and adjacent teams to solve problems, provide assistance, and offer training on IT best practices to other team members.
- Demonstrate excellent soft skills, including the ability to adapt communication for both internal and external stakeholders effectively, bridging gaps with empathy and proactive communication.
Although not mandatory, additional qualifications that would be advantageous include:
- Possession of relevant information security certifications.
- An understanding of audited processes and collecting evidence.
- Proficiency in advanced scripting or programming, even if in a personal context.
- A deep understanding of topics such as Cloud logging and monitoring, Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., terraform), Network traffic analysis and threat hunting, Google Cloud Platform & Google Workspace, Third-Party Security Due Diligence, Data center operations.
- An appreciation of the soundtrack to Hamilton, which chronicles the establishment of a new financial system.
Compensation at Anchorage Digital:
- Compensation at Anchorage Digital is determined by market standards and data analysis. All full-time employees receive a competitive salary, meaningful equity, and a range of generous perks and benefits.
- Compensation Range for this role is €63,800+. This salary range may vary based on regional locations and job grades and will be refined during the interview process based on the required skills, abilities, and experience.
- We conduct annual partnerships with third-party firms to validate benchmarks for equity, cash, benefits, and perks. For sales and business development roles, the provided range includes On Target Earnings (“OTE”), encompassing base salary + sales commissions/bonuses targets for the position.
