Job Location and Remote Opportunities

Although we have a remote-friendly and global team, we also offer the option of working in-office at our locations in New York City, Sioux Falls, Porto, Lisbon, and Singapore. Position Overview

In this position as a Member of Technical Staff on our Protocols team, you will be instrumental in enhancing our support for new cryptoassets. Our focus is on integrating assets that meet our strict security and quality standards, utilizing a selective asset integration strategy that balances innovation with security considerations.

As an integral part of our team, you will be responsible for the technical challenge of integrating emerging blockchains and advanced technologies into the core infrastructure of our ecosystem. This role is essential in ensuring the scalability and security of our platform.

You will be working with a competent and ambitious team in a collaborative environment where everyone's contributions are valued. Your technological expertise, architectural insights, and leadership skills will play a direct role in shaping the trajectory of our projects and the future of our platform.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Your primary responsibilities will include researching and integrating new cryptoassets, implementing participatory features that clients require, developing scalable abstractions across various crypto-networks, supporting assets through upgrades, monitoring for network-wide issues, and contributing to and reviewing code across the entire stack and engineering organization.

In addition, your work will involve finding the right balance between progress and perfection, fostering efficient testing practices, working on the front lines of blockchain/crypto innovation, and shipping code that has a global impact.

To thrive in this role, you should have real-world experience building complex distributed systems, with a focus on engineering skills over specific languages or frameworks. You should enjoy building resilient services, prioritize code quality and test infrastructure, and have the ability to dive deep into the stack to resolve bugs. Strong fundamentals in computer science, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures, are important. While a formal computer science degree is not required, it is valued.

If you have experience with applied cryptography, a strong interest in blockchain protocols, stay updated with the latest cryptoasset innovations, or have a background in the finance industry, that would be a bonus.

Compensation and Benefits

At Anchorage Digital, we offer market-driven and data-informed compensation packages. Full-time employees receive competitive salaries, substantial equity, and a comprehensive perks and benefits package. The salary range for this position is $144,670 to $205,400 and may differ based on region and job grade. The final compensation will be determined during the interview process, considering skills, abilities, and required experience. We regularly partner with third-party firms to ensure our compensation is on par with industry benchmarks.
